Explorer question

Being a recent owner of a Minelab Explorer XS, I have a question. Does Sunray or Coltec have a lighter say 10" or 10 1/2" coil that is lighter than the Stock 10 1/2" coil. If so how much lighter.

I think the new Explorer SE coil should work,I purchased one for my explorer 2.It is way lighter but I think its a little more sensitive when hitting grass clumps etc,but I usually run mine wide open.

If you can afford it go with the X-12 from Sunray, it's lighter than the stock 10" coil and it will give you a few more inches of depth. However if you still wish for a 10" coil then I MUST suggest the Joey coil for the Explorer made by Coiltek, it has great reviews and lots of people love it, it's a 5 X 10" coil, which is basically a 10" only slimmer (has same or better depth than stock coil), the only downside is the price ($199) however most swear it's worth it, I'm thinking of getting it myself once I get the money.
