Help needed to find a downloadable copy of the emulator for the Explorer SE pro

I downloaded the us coins program (it has 28 different coin files) but am having issues moving it to the emulator. Can't seem to figure it out. Is there a simpler way that a dumb-ass like myself can manage?

If you know where the zip file was down loaded to on your computer.... just use windows explorer. You should be able to open your hard drive from there. Then hit the little arrow beside programs, which will fully show all the programs. You should be able to see the emulator program. Now go into where ever the zip file is and just drag it to the emulator file.

Ok. I have the zip file in my documents and the emulator file on my desktop. When I drag the zip file over to the emulator file, all it does is open the emulator and there are no new coins on it.

Eh....piss on it. It's not that important. I don't have the time of day and these computers never do what they are supposed to do.

It can be frustrating

This link has some info... http://www.thebeepgoeson.com/display.asp?page=E-Trac_Emulator_ZIP.

Basically, find the directory that you installed the emulator to. It is usually "C:\Program Files\ExSeEm-V1-en". In some Windows versions they hide the Program Files directory from you. You can use Windows Explorer to change these settings if you can't see it.

Within this directory is another called "datazips" --> "C:\Program Files\ExSeEm-V1-en\datazips". Place the unzipped target file into the datazips directory. You can then start the emulator and select the target file through the File menu.

HH!

Thanks Dew & Beep. I really do appreciate your time.

I usually don't swear unless I dig a 2-foot hole and find a nail, or when I have to try and be computer saavy..which I definately am not. I'll work on it later when my girls are asleep and it's quieter. Thanks again:detecting:.
