General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

your "professionalism" in loading up my personal message box when you sold it under my feet not appreciated...one message would have been enough...4 was more than ridiculous!

Greg, Calm down my friend. Let me explain the rest of the story.

Moose57 is a perfectly good guy. He is new to computers, new to forums and has only made (9) Posts as of yesterday in his whole 23 days history on the FindMall. Greg...give the guy a break.. you are a Senior Member who we all look up to. Many of us read your thousands of posts and enjoy your knowledge, sharing and insight.

Yes, you were the 1st to post on here. As soon as I noticed his post I immediately sent him a private email and told him I would consider it SOLD. I left my # for him to call me. Then I went back to post on there that I had sent him a PM and seen you had posted. The phone rang and I never got to make my post. Plus if I did, then you would feel as if I was trying to take it from you.. Later on that evening he called me. I informed him I was a Dealer and a FindMall sponsor. We had a nice conversation and I learned quite a bit about him. He is new to computers, new to forums, but eager to learn.

Moose57 (Kevin in OH) is a really nice guy and I have no issues with him what-so-ever.

The reason you probably received more than 1 message... he was trying to be polite and let everyone know it was sold. He probably hit send a few to many times, just like I have seen on a rare occasion...you make a mistake. I too have done it on accident and so I know a new person who is trying to sell their 1st detector on here can easily make the same mistake.

Greg- Most all of us look up to what you have to say and so when you tell everyone to "Watch out" to someone as new as he is, some folks take your words literally and he will never be able to move anything on here. Please think about it for a bit and check the person out, their history and all.. You'll usually see or understand a reason for the issues there.

I hope everyone who reads this will understand, that on occasion 1st Timers can make a mistake.

If you read my post...I had sent him a pm also...so I did not just respond to the post in the classified area....he clearly said he did not have another buyer at the time I exchanged pm's...... as I stated on the other post...I am done with this... I did both a pm, responded on classified. I also discussed with him and he at that time said he did not have another interested buyer yet...its dust in the wind now...you can have last word..and thanks for being a forum sponsor...
