Explorer verses Musketeer Advantage on wet salt beach

I'm quite satisfied with my Explorer on wet salt beaches in my area. Only when I wander into real nasty minerals (tell-tale d/t the gunpowder grey/black color of the sand) does it act up. For moderate minerals, salts, etc... it has made a great wet beach machine.

My question is: I'm thinking about getting a Musketeer Advantage for a land backup machine. I'm wondering if this Musketeer Advantage would ALSO be a good beach backup, if need be. I understand it's a single frequency, verses multiple-frequency. So would this mean it's not as pleasant in minerals and wet salt?
