explorer xs headphone socket

diggervance

New member
Hello All,
The headphone socket on my explorer xs went to heck dose anyone know who fixes them, Thanks diggervance

i just had to do mine, its not a hard fix, just take your time and it will work fine, i bought a 1/8 jack at radio shak for about $4 and then split the battery compartment open ,removed the old jack ,soldered the new wires on and hot glued the thing in, i also bought a 1/8 to 1/4 adapter wire online for $7 and used it. i zip-tied it to the battery compartment and now use regular headphones , the wire puts no stress on the jack,
