Have Explorer XS now and have had great success using it! decided to try the Explorer11 so is there any noticeable differences besides being able to see both ferrous and conductive numbers? Tones, Recovery, Speaker Volume, etc!
THANKS
Mike

All in all very close to the same. I believe IMHO due too the XSII being Gen 2 processor the recovery to Smart Find screen is a tad faster.
Also it has the larger more durable headphone jack. But, with all that said and what you mentioned they are very much the same .
Enjoy!

Have used both side by side and one after the other, I use an Exp2 and my regular hunting buddy uses a Exp XS. The Exp2 gives clearer, shorter and more precise signal responses, no doubt about it, but it's not deeper.

They both go just as deep testing on regular modern day coins, on the Exp XS the signals sound wider and slower, like everything is being magnefied. I would have no problem using one over the other, just have to get used to the wider sounds of the Exp XS. This is all from the perspective of factor settings.

Like using the Digital Screen, having both numbers. I strictly coin hunt and seems less complicated than the Smartfind Screen plus have my machine programmed for Old Coins seems to be working out!
