HI The explorer2 is not that hard to learn and is a very good detector.Have found 5 IH in last 3 times out. I hunt in im 14 volume 9 gain7 th tone8 variability 8 limits 9 conduct ,advanced, noise 8 response normal recovery deep on fast off smart screen sens 25. When i turn machine on I will hold the detector out in front of me and adjust the sens. till it is unstable then back it down till sounds smooth. After that i find a good clean place to set coil down and noise cancel. ready to go. Found 5 IH in a place we hit to death. All coins sounded great at a depth of 9in and more.

Go slow and check every repeatable signal, watch the small box were it goes and how deep the target is. Pinpoint it and do the wiggle over it, if it still sounds good dig your coin.I have a lot to learn yet but the good stuff is coming every outing now. Many people make this machine sound hard to use but it is as hard as you want to make or as easy. Hope this helps a bit . Harry
