Extending my coil wires...

I'm interested in rigging my ExII so that I can do more water hunting. Does anyone know of a way that I can extend my current coil cables? If anyone out there has experience with jerry-rigging I'd be interested in an off line discussion to swap ideas.

I have heard of real nasty side effects when extending coil wires. I would recommend that you build a male female cord with connectors on both ends. Should cost more than 12 bucks are radio shack. stick with the gold plated connectors.
This is the least intrusive way of doing things and the procedure is reversible <img src="/metal/html/grin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":grin">
