HI GUYS :Need to know what model of F-2 came first the one with a snap on coil connector,or the screw on connector type?Also how do you increase the depth increase inside the control box or check it out for maxium depth?:rolleyes:cjm thank you.

Push on coil came first, there is nothing you can do inside the control box to increase depth.

In good soil the depth should be close to the diameter of the coil.
8"....8 inches
10"...10 inches

Maybe a little less on both like an inch or so.
The sniper coil does not hold to these rules and most can get up to 6" if not further.

In bad soil you will not get these depths.

The DD coil should go at least as far as the 10" concentric....some say it goes a bit further and it is a better choice for mineralized soil.

After market coils might get a bit further but they cost.
