F- 70 coil question

Elton I have the 6.5" football coil. It stays on 100% of the time. It is a very light coil and it came with it's own rod and hardware??? Don't know if they do now. I don't think you would be ahead by getting one. Your 5" DD should do the job. The 11" coil has been in the box for a few years. I use to carry the standard coil (don't know if it is 9" or 10") in the trunk but took that one out some time ago and it too is in the box. My holes are about 3" round with 6.5" and I really don't want to dig those 1 foot round holes. Don't care to dig past 5". There is enough for me to dig above 5" to fill my pockets. All the money I find is mine to spend on what ever I think would be neat to have. I should say, minus the quarters which go to the wife for wash money.......Z

NEL sharpshooter or 10x5 DD would be my choice.

I don't have the 70 but picked up a Sharpshooter for my 75v2 and wish I had gotten the concentric instead. I really don't think the 5 x 10 size makes much difference from the stock 11" one. If you want to try a Sharpshooter you're more than welcome to try mine , or I'll swap you for the concentric but you may not get it back. 
If you're not interested in going larger I think you have the bases covered pretty well with the three you have.

I have the sharpshooter also and have used it a good bit but just today switched back to the 11" which will stay on the 75 until I get a 10" concentric coil.
Thanks all .......... I'm thinking on the replies... Seems the 5x10 is a possibility for sure. Though I do wonder what it would do that the stock 10" concentric that is one of the two basic package coils sold with the F-70 (11" & 10) would not do.
I do admit I am intrigued by the elliptical 4x6 by 6" ............... is that one concentric like the 10" ??

Being you have the 11" DD, the 10"conc, and the 5" DD; the 10x5 DD really isn't necessary. I bought the 10x5 because I wanted the large DD, but wanted the solid coil for rough ground and hopefully some nugget hunting. Unless you feel the need to combat EMI, the NEL coils pretty much match the 11" in performance.
I like the little football conc. Even more now that I've learned to use it in otherwise harsh conditions.
You do have the bases well covered. The football would probably be redundant. But it might fit your style better than the 5". At least better in certain conditions

Do you still have the F75? If so you could run the small 6" football on it using FA and either the 10" or 11" on the F70. You would have a killer combo.
