f 70 finds more gold again :thumbup:

took it for a walk yesterday & found this little beauty
14k gold read at a solid 30
about 5-6 inches deep
dam i love this f70 thats 13 rings so far this year 5 were gold

Walt that is a nice ring. When I only find a few coins and some gold it changes it from a not so hot hunt to an excellent hunt. Finding gold makes a difference. Good work and nice detecting.

thanks yes its always nice to find jewelry
i run my f70 at 15 discriminate / de / sensitivity 50 / threshold -3 / 3 tones / no notch
if i want more depth i go 0 on the threshold
but normaly i just run at the factory preset as our ground is very hot in the 90s
i also run the 6 x 3 coil

Thanks Walt for the settings. We run pretty close to same settings. My sens is a little more @ 60/75. I really like the 6x3 coil, that little guy works like a champ. I use the 11" on the beach. Thanks Walt and good detecting. Happy Trails...Z
