F-70 or the T2, which one would you recommend?

First off let me say that I am a cache Hunter 1 St and a Coin Hunter second. I hunt in the woods and open fields 90% of the time. My ground here Oklahoma is not to mineralized. I am looking for the most Depth possible. I am going to get one of the two and thought I would ask on here first. There is a lot of wisdom on here I can tell. Everything I have read about these two detectors I like. If someone has used both or just one I would like to hear what you have to say, thanks.

With Fisher running the anniversary special on the F75 with DST, ID suggest that over both. Advertised price is $599, but if you contact dealers directly you can get it shipped for around $500. I say that having never used either you mention, but recently got an F75 and I'll grab it over my CTX 3030 almost every time now.

F70 would be my choice, I've never owned either one but I've heard a lot more positive feedback on the f70 by far. Comments like best detector for your money, this one is a real sleeper, and this thing is a beast. I've not heard any bad comments at all, also my little brother MarkCZ5 has the f70 and he's found some deep silver with his.

T2 classic anytime. I also have an f75 ltd special edition. The f75 ltd air tests about an inch deeper but in thr ground where it matters that power cant always be used. The t2 is the deepest most reliable smoothest detector i have used. If i could only have one. T2 classic. One other thing, you cant buy patience, skill and experience. These are what make you sucessful good luck ! HH

I asked the same question some time ago with interesting responses. I decided to go another route just because I wanted a few functions that these detectors didn't have.
If I had to chose between the 2 by the responses that I had, I'd go with the F70 for sure.

How many cache do you have tips on? how many have you found and what machine? Either machine is a good choice,if you have been looking as to what is for sale, you don't see the F70 offered that much. ---------------After1-------------

Thanks for all the info. It does help me out. A lot of you have been here before and I like to tap into your knowledge if possible.
I have 3 cache locations. Only looked for one. When I buried some test targets to see if my machine could get them, I knew I was in trouble and needed a better machine.
Thanks to everyone.

JJ1610------I have quit digging on a target and I was a good 10'' deep, the only reason I filled up the hole was because at the 10'' depth there is a big flat stone, Its either a silver coin on a nice size piece of aluminum, For a cache I would think you would want also a big coil. Are these caches jars of coins??? And how deep did you put your test target's???????-----------after1--------------

Not sure if they are jars or what. I was not alive when they were buried. I have carved signs on rock. Just hard to figure them out.
My test targets range from 17 inches to 30 inches. And they are not single coins. They are the size of a modern toolbox. Like a cache would be.
I know a larger coil will help also, but I first want to start in the right direction, with the right detector.

Not sure if a F or T are able to pick up that deep--------------You might want to see what machines the relic hunters use -- post a pic of the rock!!!!!!----------------after1--------------

You need this Mr....A mason jar of coins at 5 foot....https://www.google.com/search?q=fisher+gemini+3+metal+detector+images&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwikpLvW47TOAhWB5iYKHWmtDvoQsAQIHQ&biw=1352&bih=625#imgrc=_UQdsAEX-TkZ2M%3A

Dowsing Rods !!!!!!!!!!!!!!----------------------------------------------------after1--------------------------

If you decide on an f70 I have a used one just seating in the closet. $450 with Sunday probe or $375 without.

I've hit beer cans , and 6 inch decking bolts on the beach at 2 feet easy , with a Fisher CZ-7a , and that was a strong signal , so I know it could go deeper . Just another option .
