F-70 Question

What is its value for resale or Trade?

As with many detectors it is an older model, and not in great demand. You can generally figure about half the original retail.. if in superb condition.

Trading is a little different value. If someone wants a F70...Their subject to offer what they have for a trade.. and not always figure dollar for dollar values.

The problem is No One will pay close to new prices for used. Dealers have to offer less because they have to resale and make a profit on their trade in detectors.

Your most profitable exchange is sometimes on an auction site. Newbies tend to bid more on used products than a seasoned detectorist will pay for used....

Supply and demand on a particular detector can also fluctuate the price. A few years ago a T2 in example could go as high a $1,500.00 to $2,000.00 for used. They were short on supply and heavy in demand in the Gold Fields.

In general figure you will take a hit when selling a used detector or trading it in if you bought it new. If you buy it used you will not loose as much on the resale..and may get exactly what you paid for it..
