F 75, some Nashville and Memphis finds.:fisher:

Been back and fourth to Nashville a couple of times of late and did some hunting while up there and my buddy and I got in a few hunts here in between my travels. Here and there, managed a few silver finds, 9 dimes, a S L quarter, Walking LIberty half and a 925 silver pendent. Also got a dozen + wheat cents and a n/d buffalo nickel. Except for the 925 piece, all the jewelry is junk. Got the money clip here and the buckle with the A in Nashville. The S L quarter is a 1929 and the half is 1934. Got both of them yesterday on a short two hour hunt.

Have an older park in the Nashville area that I frequent when ever up that way visiting our youngest son. It usually collects plenty of clad, dug almost $15.00 worth there last week, but on occasion has given up some silver rings and a silver coin here and there. Yesterday the park was kind of busy so I headed off to a corner of it that has a gravel road that is now grown over running along one side. Thought maybe people may have parked there at one time and lost a few goodies. If so, I couldn't find any, so ventured out towards some trees thinking maybe a picnic blankest area. My first good hit was 5 wheat cents in a stack at about 4". I had on the small 5" coil so I slowed my pace down and a few minutes later got a nice upper 80's reading and un-earther the S L quarter from also about 4". About two feet away I hit the Walker half. She was about 5" deep, but near totally on edge. Picked off a few more pieces of clad and called it a wrap.

Over the past week or so, have hunted solely with the small 5" DD coil as been working some pretty trashy spots here and up in the Nashville area. My buddy has been doing pretty good with his up-graded 75 and the small coil as well as he hit a nice 1916 Merc. and N/D S L quarter on our last hunt together. Good hunting everyone. HH jim tn

Pretty amazing .....if you consider many of us only find clad. :clapping:

Nice hunt. Love silver almost as much as lead. HH

Great hunt Jim. That SLQ and Walker are great looking coins. I'm still waiting to dig one of those. Congrats.

Thanks guys! I am really liking this new version F 75 SE. It runs very quiet with running 0 disc and sen anywhere up to max. I've dug several fairly deep coins while running the 5" coil and there still seems to be plenty of good tone left. And, I forgot how good the 75's were on nickels. After 5-6" it still seems to be a crap shoot, though, as to what kind of penny or dime is going to get unearthed. Quarters and the 1 half i d'ed fine. Going to check out some fresh ground tomorrow, so we'll see what happens. Thanks, again. HH jim tn

Wow Jim that is one heck of a haul on the silver! hey Mud, I saw a Robin the other day on a walk and I think that poor thing re-packed its luggage and flew away lol
