General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Up for sale is a like new pair of Jimmy Sierra Maxi Phone II Headphones. These were a backup to my V3 headphones and were used only a couple of times. They have individual ear volume adjustments. Selling them for $72 shipped/insured via Priority Mail. PayPal OK....Don

Are these the same as the original Gray Ghosts? They look identical so I was curious if they are basically the same thing.
 
They do look similar, but I believe that the Gray Ghost original headphones (and the Ultimates) only have a single volume control for both ears. Only the newer, more expensive Detector Pro Black Widows and Jolly Roger Ultimates have a dual volume control. It could be that JS had Detector Pro make these to his specs. Here are a few specs for the Maxi-Phone IIs that I copied from JS website......Don

ON (up) or OFF (down)

High Performance Circuit
150 Ohms of perfectly balanced impedance produces maximum sensitivity & signal quality.

Heavy Duty Polymer Ear Cups
Soft non-hardening cushions block ambient sound to 24 decibels, surround the ear for maximum comfort & fold away for storage.

Dual Segmented Volume Controls
"Stay-put" rotary click controls adjust volume independently for each ear. Either side can be "clicked off" in snake country.
 
As Don said they were made by Detector Pro for Jimmy Sierra.

I've got a pair. Good phones, comfortable, solidly made. Worth what Don's asking for a like new pair, IMHO.
