General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Comes with original box, manual and all associated paperwork. Origial rod has never been assembled or outside the box (the arm cuff pads are still in the original plastic). I'm the original owner and purchased new in 2008 from Kellyco and has had limited use. One of the few Dual Fields (if not the only one) that has had the Mr. Bill mod and I can tell you it is super sensitive to gold. Coil has epoxy painted on bottom instead of using a coil cover.. Also comes with disposable Lithium batteries.

Still doesn't address the question, what mod.
I thought he only mod'd the PI to perform like the PI Pro
Don't know about the Dual Field mod?
I'm sure there's many of us who would like to know.
The Dual Field is a great machine from what I read.
 
All I can tell you is that he made it more sensitive to small gold. Mine was the first one he had seen. If you want to know more ask Mr. Bill.
 
Thanks, still new to PI's I have the Surfmaster PI Pro and still learning. Have to say they go deep. Signals that I thought were near surface like a VLF machine
turn out to be 2-3x deeper. The faint signals are scary, a small 1" safety pin the other day at around 12". When hunting the water I gave up on many of them,
just could not dig deep enough fast enough before the holes filled back in.
 
Mr. Bill sure does know his stuff. I knew he modified a Whites PI to be as sensitive as the Pi Pro for gold, but also didn't know he modified the Dual Field. If Mr. Bill worked on it, then it's definately a special unit. :thumbup:
