F/S -Tesoro Cibola with Triple Discrimination Mod

For sell is a Tesoro Cibola for $260 shipped to the lower U.S. It has received the 3D Triple Discrimination modification.
This Cibola is several years old and while it has been used quite a bit it has not been abused. It shows normal wear for its age. The coil cover has a tiny crack that was repaired with JB Weld a couple years ago. The Coil itself is fine. I installed a new foam hand grip two weeks ago.

The stock discrimination pot (knob) works exactly as on any other Cibola. The toggle adds two set discrimination points. The detector works perfectly avoiding pull tabs and still responding to targets in the nickels range and in the coin range. So the operator has the choice to operate in the stock configuration, or utilize a 3 level Discrimination.

THE PURPOSE OF THE MODIFICATION:
I added a 3 position momentary switch that returns to the center position when not activated.
1. First I set the detector to discriminate out foil. This is the center and default setting of the toggle.
2. Pressing down the toggle activates the Nickel and below discrimination. When released the toggle pops back to the center position.
3. Pressing up on the toggle activates the Zing and below discrimination. Again, when released the toggle pops back to the center position.

SO THIS HOW IT WORKS:
1. The first signal means a target above foil is under the coil.
2. Press down on the toggle. If the signal goes away chances are the target is a Nickel, Can Slaw or a Gold Ring.
3. If the signal did not go away Press the toggle up. If the signal does not go away its probably a non-zinc coin or silver. If it did go away its probably a pull top or zinc.

The great thing about this mod is that the circuit board is not involved at all. The frequency toggle has been removed and it is there that the 3D toggle placed. This is a easy to reach and comfortable location. The frequency toggle will sent with the detector to the buyer.

This 3D modification with the discrimination adjustable and two switched points at Nickle and Zink penny gives the equivalent notching of a Golden uMax with the power of a Cibola.

Folks this fellow is a whiz these mods work great and I have a X2 that he modded and it is the same and is a demon will never sell it better grab it while you can

Gosh we have some really innovative modders ought to cover it...One wonders why the big buck engineers missed the boat...
