I have a Tesoro Compadre for sale. It is in very good shape with normal scuffs and scratches on bottom of coil cover. Unit works perfectly. It appears the coil cable has been spliced and taped but it does not affect performance. It was that way when I purchased the unit a couple years ago. I bought it for my son and he used it in a few club hunts and now he has lost interest in the hobby, so it is up for sale. Please see pictures. I am asking $100 plus $15 shipping. I will take Paypal or money order. Send me an e-amil if interested.

It's not a black button... It a hole drilled and a rubber bushing added to have easy
access to the sensitivity control on the inside... I added it years ago when it was mine...
There was a small plug inserted with a screwdriver type end on it so it could be taken
out and adjusted if you wanted to increase or decrease the sens.....Then put back in to
keep the dust out...

Thanks, Jeff

I didn't remember where I got it from, but know it was a great detector and sold it to Mike for his son to use and now it looks like they are upgrading.
The Compadres are great detectors and I have 2 of them already for my Grand children or I would buy this one back again and maybe I will too when Mike comes to our club meeting if it isn't sold I will try to make a deal with him.

Thanks Jeff for telling what the button was for as I thought it was a ground balance.

Rick

I do not know if the lifetime warranty is void or not, but thanks Jeff for letting me know what the rubber plug was for and thanks Rick for vouching for the detector. It is now for sale on Ebay. Thanks all!
