Here is the pics for this underwater detector.(can be used on land, beach and underwater).
The photos show the condition of the unit. Pretty good shape. The shaft has scratches on it from previous owner(s) neglect.. The insides are in great shape as well.
Even the rubber on the handle grip is in good shape. Coil is an 8 inch concentric and has some scratches on the bottom.
Takes only 6 - AA batteries (not included) Battery life is 15-30 hours. Operating modes: VLF All Metal, TR Discriminate, VLF Discriminate. Operating frequency is 10kHz.. Headphone in good shape too. I have extra coil wing nuts and plastic 'bolts' for holding the coil in place.
There is a small bag (for goodies I think) that comes with it.. Instruction booklet and a magazine from Tesoro also included. Also a small bottle of silicone for keeping the rubber gasket from rotting and drying out.
Looking for $375 which includes shipping via the U.S. Post Office (we don't have UPS up here any more unfortunately).
Prefer payment via Paypal. I bought this about 2 - almost 3 years ago and hasn't been used a lot. (It did find a nice 1937 Midland High School class ring in Houghton Lake so I know it loves gold.)
This is for FRESHWATER use. So if you're looking for something to use in Salt water this is not the unit you want. Can be used under water down to 200 feet. Very light weight unit.
The Stingray DOES NOT have interchangeable coils. This is pretty much the same as the Tesoro Tiger Shark but a lot less expensive.
