General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

F/T 8x6 SEF for Sunray X8

Would like to trade an 8x6 SEF for Sunray X8. It is in excellent condition and comes with a cover that has never been off. I would like to try something else for a while on my SE. Thanks Findmall!
 
I have a 15" WOT coil that I would like to trade or sell for $150. If you or anyone is insterested. Can send photos. I used it on my Etrac a few times.

I've never used the X-8 but I can tell you, I love my 8X6 SEF. I hope you find a trade.
 
The reason I don't care for this coil, and it might just be in my mind, but it seems slow to me about isolating individual targets. The 1050 seems to turn loose of signals and pickup the next signal quicker. I have dug deep targets with the 8 X 6, but I always end up hunting slow and waiting on it to recover. I just thought I would like to try the X8 for a while. I have confidence in my 6" Excellerator and the 1050 FBS, I am also not real crazy about my only other coil (Pro Coil)). It's noisy and falses a lot. I also dig lots of iron with the Pro Coil versus the 1050 FBS. Anyway, I am headed off to work and maybe you guys can get me straighted out later. Thanks!

Bobby your gold words about 1050 or Pro, but I can add I use only 1050 and have or had all the rest, no point in small coil at all, but if you need 8inch size you can use minelab 8 with the same success like x-8, sell sef and buy two times cheaper ml 8. detector was made for 1050 so its will works best with this coil, even in high trash. good luck Stasys
