A ham radio WILL mess with the electronics on our machines. I went back to the park where I had trouble my last time there. The explorer worked fine this time. In fact I found my seventh silver coin since I got into this game. Anyhow I posted below that I thought A ham radio was making my machine "short out". Well after hunting today I went to the house that was the suspect and the man went out to his shop and turned his radio on. Low and behold my machine went crazy especially when he transmitted. The explorer is well and good!! What a relief, considering what I'm going thru with supplier....D.

Glad to hear that all is well with your machine. I use to mess with all kinds of radio tranceivers and I know they can interfere with electronic equipment, I have seen how enough rf output can shut a vehicle down or do other crazy things to vcr's, tv's and telephones, CQ CQ, breaker breaker <IMG SRC="/forums/images/smile.gif" BORDER=0 ALT=":)">
Anyway, congrates on the silver finds, GL/HH
