all of the coils I had on-hand that could work on them, plus some "not approved."

Sorry for another question that's been asked before, but here goes. Am I correct to assume that the Fisher F5 coils will work on the F19?
The latter F5 coils that are screw-on will 'fit' the F19, but only the Double-D coils will work well/properly.

I would guess that the Teknetics G2 coils would also work on the F19?
Yes, all of the coils that are 'approved' for the Teknetics G2 and Fisher Gold Bug Pro, will work on the F19 (or newer Tek. G2+). These same coils, the 5" DD, 5X10 DD 11" BiAxial DD, will work on these higher-frequency models. However, while these same search coils work on the 'Greek' series models, Omega 8000,Gamma 6000, Delta 4000 and Alpha 2000, there are Concentric coils, 8" round and 5½X9¾ elliptical, that can 'fit' the F-19, G2+, G2, Gold Bug Pro, etc., but those models are only designed to work properly with Double-D coils.

As for larger than stock coils, which ones are the F19 users liking best?
I used the 11" BiAxial DD, but didn't care for the performance, at least not in the site conditions I usually hunt in, or even in a couple of plowed fields I worked.
For the way the F19 performs, I had the most satisfaction using my 5" DD in the trashier sites, but the stock 5X10 DD standard coil worked well for general open area searches, and in similar sites I preferred its performance to the 11" BiAxial DD coil. Now, if you wonder about any after-market search coils, well, I am not a big fan of most of them. Seldom use them because I figure the design engineers had their own search coils to work with in designing the detectors and their performance, and I trust the manufacturers coils for their detectors more than some other outfit.
In the end, however, it is up to all of us to do what we can ... on our own ... to select a coil, or coils, that will fit our individual needs and desires. Other's opinions are just that. Opinions, and not fact that will necessarily fit someone else's wants and needs.
