I went out with the F19 for 2 separate hunts on the weekend. The first was on what could have been an old battle field remnant. I went there before with my F5 and F44 and found a real old belt buckle and many musket balls. I thought I had cleared the place up but I found a few more musket balls. I was hoping for an old silver coin but not this time.
The other hunt was at a local park and I was there a little more than 2 hours. No silver, no gold but lots of change. My very first find was a Montreal Canadien pendant. Go habs go ! I also found a religious medal with "Maria Auxilium Christianorum" on one side and St-Michael slaying the dragon on the other side. The usual trash was also found (zipper pulls, screws, nails, bottle caps, pull tabs, foil) but not pictured. So the F19 can definitely do coins well. There was a main hydroelectric line passing right overhead and the F19 was totally impervious to EMI. It's so silent at times that I wonder if it's working. I'll send it back to First Texas during the winter and ask them if they can crank the gain up.
