F19 LTD and NEL Sharp 5 inch round coil = Nice

coin-star

New member
Back Story:
I started with a Eurotech Pro and got a 5x10 DD for it and the NEL Sharp 5" coil. I liked using the NEL on it because the combo was so light and it got pretty good depth for coin shooting, which is mostly what I do right now.

Last February I got a good deal on an F19 LTD and have used it with the stock coil up until a few weeks ago, when I tried out the Nel Sharp 5" on it. I was SUPER impressed. The ID's are even more steady, and I dug more nickels than ever before. It is rock solid on nickles. This combination is better than any machine I own for nickels. In fact, most of the time when I get 57/58 ID it is a pull tab 7 out of 10 times. For some reason with this combination it was more like 4 nickels to one pull tab.

Anyone else using NEL coils with the F19?

Hmmm. I haven’t really done any videos, but I could give it a shot next time I take it out. No promises on it being any good.

you can see test with the GB Pro and G2 (basically very close to the F19) -no need to go into it here.
(hit the metal detecting forum for comparisons; also the Compass 77b will amaze you)
