F19 restarts itself.

Sounds like it may be a bad switch---but---my suggestion would be---put a new fresh battery in--then do a factory re-set.------If that doesn't do it, I dunno.-------It may need to be sent in to FT.----Is it under warranty?---If so, they will take care of it with no charge.

A factory reset is a great suggestion as is trying a new and different kind of battery. Anything happened before it started doing it ?
Factory reset procedure for the F19: With detector OFF, set right knob to disc, press and hold menu GG button, turn on while holding menu GG, menu option will flash, release menu GG.
