F2 and NEL 9.5 x 5.5 Sharpshooter

Anyone have any experience with the Sharpshooter coil for F2/F4? My F2 which I bought for my daughters has the stock 4" sniper and 8" coils. Will the NEL outperform both of these coils?
 
The 8" is around 7-8" deep at the center. The Sharpshooter is around 7-8" deep from back to front. It covers more area per swing and does better IDing metal objects close to each other.

I leave the Sharpshooter on my F2 all the time.
