F2 Australian/British silver

The mighty F2 has come thru for me again. 1951 sixpence, 50% silver and 1909 shilling 92.5% silver. The 1909 coin is the last of the British shillings. In 1910 Australia started minting their own coins to replace the British ones. Value for money, nothing beats the F2. Both coins found in Perth Australia

cool finds f2 rocks

good finds-I hit Perth while stationed on the carrier USS CORAL SEA in '75.I had to quit- but back then you Aussies knew how to party

The F2 is really underrated and overlooked too much, guess it's cause it isn't overpriced like many are :detecting:

Its soooooo light. Maybe it's not the deepest, but how deep do you want to be going in a local park anyway? I find the numbers pretty spot on but I have had hours of practice. Oh the sound of a 2 dollar coin. You guys need to lobby your government and get rid of your 1 and 2 dollar notes. Greenbacks? England has a 2 Pound coin. That's about 4 dollars here.
