F2 coil choices

Have a F2 with 7x11 DD coil coming Friday. Never been one to use multiple coils. Only used Tesoro's and always put a 8x9 spider coil on all of them. With this F2 I'm thinking maybe a 8 or 10 might be something to look at. Have no desire for a sniper. I want the double d for relic hunts in the forest but do a lot of silver hunting on old lawns. What do you experienced F2 guys think coil choice wise?,, thanks and feeling a little guilty about getting a non Tesoro but my wife does very well with a Ace 250 but I don't care for the sound of that thing. Sometimes change can be good.

I have the 4", 8" and DD for my F2.
I bought the 10" off Ebay some time back and really saw no advantage when compared to the DD. The ground coverage and depth was the same as the DD but the DD gave better target separation. I sold it on Ebay because I saw no reason to keep it.
The 8" would be the better choose. One of the nice things about the 8" is the machine gives more stable TID's especially in the nickel range. You really should consider the small 4" coil because it's a real killer in trashy areas. I would rate the F2 with the small snipper coil as one of the best for hunting trashy areas. Plus the small coil is a dime a dozen on Ebay.
