I was hunting a bay beach a few days ago and detected two plastic Easter eggs each filled with a dollar in change. The sand has leaves and small pieces of bark from nearby trees, so the partially buried camo eggs were hard to see. No wonder the kids missed them. I'll take a dollar in my scoop anytime. The lead toys were in some fill sand brought in to slightly widen the beach, I think. I had to leave, but found two new quarters and the broken old toys as I headed back to my car. Gotta go back next week to check out that sand further.
