F2 finds gold

Been out of the hobby for a couple of years due to back problems. Seems like Father Time has been kicking my butt. Anyway, decided to dope up with a hand full of Excedrin (three, actually) along with some topical pain killer and dust off the old F2 for a school yard hunt. Had a good day. Found 41 coins with a face value of $4.10 and a nice gold ring. It's thin, but fairly large, for a womans ring. Always nice to find gold. Rang in at a solid "28" in all directions and was only an inch deep. Nice to get out again. Will do some more hunting if my back will take it. Hope to get in some relic hunting this Fall.

Thanks for looking,

Good hunt, gold is always grand. Gradually work your way back into it and good luck. HH jim tn

Good on ya! Thats a real nice days worth of loot...nice job on the ring. :clapping: Thanks for posting the TID signal and a little about the location...very helpful. you just keep getting out of the house and pushing through the pain for as long as you can...I bet relic hunting is tough on your back though...digging holes, and trudging terrain...theres nothing easier than kicking chips in a totlot, and its fun and productive.
