F4 Amazed & Suprised coins in same hole as Iron

I just love my F4, Just one of the many reasons is, The amount of times I've found Coins in the same hole as iron, As in yesterday's mini hunt and many times previous. I've pinpointed with the F4 dug my little plug, then stuck my garrett all metal probe in the hole after checking the plug I gets the loud signal plus the vibrator LOL coming from the hole, to momentarily being disappointed as I'm holding a piece of iron crud I just extracted. But rechecking reveals a second signal & bingo a coin...Amazing!!! Cannot fault the speed & separation qualities of my beloved F4......

Oh one more thing, Even though I mainly hunt in Disc mode Before I start I like to switch to ground balance in autotune mode then switch back again to disc,,,,Dont know if its just imagination but I've found when I do this I get a quieter session & the Id Numbers seem more stable & accurate???? I know they are two seperate modes but it just feels like the ground balancing helps???? of course I may be Wrong ?? But saying that I have also noticed in highly mineralise soil not only is backing off on the sensitivity helpfull = less chatter But the Ground balancing helps the pinpoint mode as sometimes When I've tried pinpointing in disc mode i get nothing untill turning the Ground Balance knob.... Not a complaint here just learning even more about my Moneystick which all helps

Cheers Folks

Happy Hunting

I thought the F4 was a pretty good machine. There shouldn't be a correlation between ground balancing in all metal mode and then switching to discrimination to quite down your machine, because the GB is fixed is disc mode. It's too bad the F4 didn't have TID in AM mode, I think that would've elevated it to another class because you can GB in AM mode.
