F4 Finds me a Silver 3d first

Hi Guys, Happy as Larry today with the F4 & this nice find, In fact its the first Silver threepence piece I've ever found. Its an early 1917 coin that is .925 silver & not in bad condition, Although not worth a deal its definitly one ill be saving for now at least. This 3d coin was know in it's day as a "joey" It is very small, approx 16mm radius & in 1937 was replaced by a 12 sided brass version.

Thanks Rick, Hope you do well on the beach, Love to try beach hunting myself but with gas prices here in UK its to expensive for the odd day trip to the coast, Unless while there I found GOLD LOL Anyway once again good luck & if you find any nice finds be sure to post a piccy cheers.

Good luck Prescador, With that new F5. A good choice, Maybe I'll upgrade to an F5 when my trusty old F4 as paid for its self but like mostly all F series owners, Im already happy as Larry, Pleased as punch, chuffed to bits lol
