F44 hit the jackpot tonight in a cattle sales yard.

$21 plus a 2 cent coin, 1 cent coin and nice Penny from 1951 found tonight with the F44 hunting a cattle yard of all places just after sunset in the misty rain and fog. I swear i could almost hear the ghosts of the old bulls that been sold there since 1911.
The tip for the goldies ($1 and $2 aussie coins) with the F44 i finding that depending on the angle of the coin and i think depth is changing the number a little, most $2 are 52/ 51 but some are 56/58. Same with $1 it is mostly 56 but sometimes is 51. I use custom mode, i set custom audio, high tone for 50 to 70 numbers, tone 3 for 40 80 and 90. i notch out the 10 20 and 30, but i also leave FE on, this gives some grunt some times for caps. if i get a high tone and number a little jumpy as long as i see a 50 something on the screen i dig, was in a high trash zone tonight so each 50 i dug was a goldie even one next to a nail.

Nice report and a heck of a nice haul. How does the depth seem on the 44? Good hunt!!!!!!!! HH jim tn

Not one coin tonight over 8 inches, most at 1 to 5 inches. very rare in Australia to have coins deep unless the soil been turned over or topped up.

$21 bucks is a very good haul...thats decent pay dirt there... Good job!

I wonder if those $1 and $2 coin numbers that you say came in lower might go up a little and be more consistent if you ran the machine wide open, no notch. I'm an Aussie and I'm seriously considering this machine for freshly dropped goldies, following events, gatherings and such. I would run the unit, high tone for goldies and vco for lower denominations and gold jewellery, if the vco is telling you its near the surface and numbers are consistent quick inspection and move on. I would like to know how the unit performs in such a situation. Liking you reviews and videos, keep them coming.
