F5 fixed

Had a problem with the F5 a while back with the ground balance drifting once it was set, very frustrating. Felix finally replaced the circuit board. Fixed the problem. I can't get out that much, but when I do it's great with the F5 working properly. Thanks Felix.

I had a small problem with one of my Fishers and Fexlix fixed me up quickly. One huge reason my go to unit is an F75.

Im glad to hear that my speaker quit on me and they have it now. What is the normal turn around time?

The first time I sent it in they replaced the battery tab housing because one of the tabs had broken off. They also replaced the ground balance switch and key pad even though they indicated there was no problem found with the ground balance. I sent it parcel post (insured) and it was about 10 days from when they received it that I got it back. I tried it out and it was doing the same thing. Which was when I would ground balance, usually around 57- 63, and start detecting the set number would drift off sometimes as far as into the 70's. It didn't matter what method I used either the phase lock or set it manually with the dial. I was also very careful when I set the detector down to dig a target not to accidentally interfere with the ground balance dial. Anyway, the second time I sent it in Felix paid to have it shipped FedEx and it was gone at least 3 weeks. I did keep the box they sent it back to me in, just in case. The problem with mine is they hadn't seen that specific problem before. They decided to replaced the circuit board to see if that would solve the problem and it did. Just replacing a speaker I wouldn't think it would be gone long at all. I know with mine when I take the headphone jack out the volume is real low and I can hardly hear it. I mentioned this to the tech but apparently this is normal. The headphones I received in the package deal quit working and I am saving for a new pair. From what I've read a good set like the Sun Ray Pro Golds would be well worth the money.

Dont know a bout the sunrays but killer Bs are good . I think theyre made by the same place. The pads on the cups dont get hard like some others I've used. I got some killer Bs I bought used for 70 bucks that look like new. Either one would be fine.

Yea, I would like to have either one. I had the opportunity to try on a pair of Sun Rays a couple of weeks ago and they fit pretty good. Have been advised to try a pair on before buying since they all fit different. Some of the reviews I've read indicate that the Bs run small. Sun Rays, Bs, Grey Ghost would be a big step up from what I was using and sounds like they are all good phones.

I sent in my F70 for service and Felix helped me. He told me over the phone what the problem was, I sent the F70 in and they promptly fixed it and sent it back. No complaints here. Turned out it was a pinched wire tape that went to the display.

I had fisher repair and renew my old cz7a pro, quick turn around and good service,
