F5 Headphones

Sven

Well-known member
Wife took off this afternoon, business trip. Didn't get out yesterday. Might head over to the beach later today.
In the meantime------

Rewired my home made headphones and changed the value of the volume controls (1K to 5K ohm) so I can turn down the volume some more.
Changed the right angle headphone jack on one end and now able to use them with the F5, was real curious to see what they sounded like. The Killer B's headphones I have are a bit too tinny sounding with the F5 and sounds different than the F5 speaker.. Now my home-made headphones did give a more bassier sound on other detectors. Couldn't wait to try them with the F5. After plugging them in, noticed the sound was much richer and cleaner than the Killer B's. I rather like that sound better. Going to use them next time I go out.
Speakers used are 600 ohm Kobitones.

I use a Koss UR 20. I think these are good headphones.

Have a small weight, possibility of regulations of height and angle, good solid cable, but... too long ;) (approx. 2,5 m) and no volume control. Impedance - 32 Ohms.

Greetings, K.
