F5 On ITS WAY !

Well I got a F5 on its way!!! I had a Tesoro Deleon and it couldn't cut the mustard here due to high mineral content in soil i;e iron. I was diappointed it was my first Tesoro. I had gotten a F2 as a simple fun detector ,and she as done well and handles the ground a ok.I like the 4 tone audio and the VDI is pretty good.So after a lot of looking and watching the video on the F5 by Bill Ladd I got one coming from Richard of Backwoods he's a lifesaver. I got the Tesoro from him.And he agreed to take the Tesoro back,he wanted to make things right and for me to be happy.Richard is outstanding when it comes to his customers. He is up there with Whites in customer service..So I have a F5 coming from Richard , if its as good as the F2 i'll be happy. Besides the boss (wife) says this is it on detectors, enough horse trading.LOL:wiggle:

I think you will love the F5. Great user interface. I love mine. I grab it more often than my F75. If you are into environmental covers there is a guy on e-bay that sells covers for the F5. The covers are actually for the F2 and F4 units but easily modified for the F5.

Just got my f5 back from Fisher repair. it seems that the coil wire plug is a push in plug to the detector control box and some times dose not fit in tight giving off false signals or false sounds when the coil wire is is moved.
What they did is outstanding, they replaced the coil with a new coil that has the thumb screw type plug and modified the receptacle on the box so when you plug it into the detector and turn the thumb screw to tighten it, it stays tight and dose not move around when you swing the detector Thank YOU FISHER. OH BY THE WAY DETECTOR WORK GREAT HAS HAS GOOD DEPTH 7 TO 8" ON MOST COINS
