Just got back from a salt water beach hunt. My f5 preformed fine in the wet salt sand. a few false signals, but ground balances fine. picked up $3.26 in change up to 7" deep. Never had a problem. DISC. IRON FOIL ONLY IT WILL PICK RINGS NICKLES.

I have had mine at the salt water beaches several times and the machine balances fine. Last beach I was at it balanced from 2 to 6 in the wet sand with the stock coil. For a mid priced machine does well in all hunting situatiuons.

Take care
Bob
