Hi fellow hunters,

I'm a seasoned coin hunter.

Being an ex XLT user (killed two of them that found really many many goodies), I am interested in the F5.

Gathering some information on the web, I noticed that most videos showed a very jumpy TID reading all the time.

I think this is the machine being overloaded by inexperienced users, but I want to be sure.

In fact, I think that using all the information the machine is giving should make the user think of specific settings for each different hunts.

Am I right?

HH

Hi Nick - I run my F5 as hot as I can and still stay stable and find that the numbers 'jump all over the place' only when it is a trash item - or much more rarely, when you have a good item next to or under trash

hope this helps
