F70 Acting Werid

Have anyone ever experience this with their detector? Sometimes it works fine but at times it won't detect except maybe objects an inch or so in all-metat but the screen will display. Later it may works ok again. I checked all my connections and put in fresh batteries.

Did you try the "Factory Reset"?....push and hold the Menu and Ground Grab buttons with the power off, turn power on, hold buttons for a few seconds, like 3....this will set up your detector to an all purpose factory setting mode....you can then adjust parameters from there, or start testing it out..
All metal is nice in a clean area, and important to be in while ground balancing, but if there is a lot of iron in the soil, or hot ground, it will drive you crazy until you add a little disc like about 5 and a -3 thresh. Keep your sens around 60-70 too...you will still hear deep targets with a setting like this. Hope you going to be alright.
