F70 Gold #3 this month

Using my F70 with 6.5" elliptical coil, (disc 22, DE, sens 40, thresh -1,4 tones, notch 1) I found this nice 14K ring with ruby(?) about 1.5" deep. This is the third piece of gold I've found at this practice soccer field this month. The VID was a solid 23 and the ring weighs 5.5g.

Super find!!! That is the deadly combination for gold, low disc and sens, control chatter with threshold, small coil for trash. Gold can't resist that f-70 bait!

That is a pretty ring.

Congrats,
Mike

Pine thanks for sharing. It gives me a incentive to keep going out and picking up all those pennies. Great detecting....Happy Trails.....Z

Thanks Z. I'm 69 now and hope to be able to detect like you are when or if I reach your age.

That really is a good looking 14k ring. I'm about ready for gold searching myself.
