Have a hunting partner and now it is even more fun. :twodetecting: My partner couldn't make it today so went out to a few parks. Put in my 7th set of batteries. Picked up 2 older nickels a 1946 and 1961 also saw at least one 1964 penny in the pennies. Now have 2504 coins for a total of $189.92. Was running Disc@1, Sens@60, Thres@-3. Tones@3H.
Met (Kay) a very nice lady in the park today swinging a Freedom Ace. I said I haven't seen one of those in years. She got it new about 25 years ago and she prefers to use that even though her and husband have a few other detectors. We had a very enjoyable conversation for some time. You just never know what is going to happen when you go out metal detecting. Thanks for reading and Happy Trails....Z

Way to go Z nice finds keep up the great work stryker :detecting:

Thanks Stryker for reply. It is starting to warm up again so took the detector out of the trunk of the car because next few days weather is going to be in the 90's with high humidity. Don't much care to detect in that kind of weather. Looks like it might last until Thursday. I guess it is time for sitting on the porch drinking cold drinks and watching TV. Gad life sure is good when you retire.... Happy Trails Stryker.....Z
