Taking MUDs advice, I ordered a little extra longer shaft. Went from the 20 stock fisher shaft to the "magnum" 26 inch monster I bought from kellyco. Man let me tell you I can cut a path now, my swings are covering like 7 feet wide section, and with the wind whistling in the holes, as I swing, I am nearly jogging behind my detector now.

Seriously, I had another good hunt in the new park I moved to, around 50 coins which seems to bet average for the time I am out, one 1954 silver dime. Settings are staying the same, disc 22 sens 60 thres -03 tones 4h.

Good job on the pile of coins and slipping a silver dime in is alway an added reward. Just think what you, Mud and Zeekey's could do silver wise if you actually targeted silver. Good hunt. HH jim tn

I saw the original post before edit! i've had several posts edited or deleted altogether that were written in a fit of excitement too! No problem, carry on! Good to hear you like that Magnum set up, I do too! It can really reach out and is very handy to get deep under the equip in the totters for sure.:especially for a guy your size..thumbup:
