F70 SEF 12x10 coil

I have the 8" coil or stock coil and it takes to long to hunt bigger lots, The fisher stock 11DD coil makes the f70 alot better so way not spend the same amount of money and just buy the SEF coil over the the 11DD coil

i brought a 12x10 sef coil great on ploughed fields no more hot rocks ...

I'm thinking ... what else doesn't hit now that the hot rocks don't? I am also thinking ... wonder if it would help get rid of hits from the tiny carbonized iron pieces I find at some of the beaches I get to a couple times a year?

If either of you or others can do some comparisons in similar conditions between the 12 x 10 sef and one of the stock coils (11 inch DD or 10 inch elliptical) and post more observations, I would sure like to read it!!!

i havnt tried the 11dd coil on my f70 but since i brought the 12x10 sef coil i havnt used my standard ellp coil. I would use the ellp coil on days where i just want to try pasture land quickly because of the weight but i
dont find the sef coil to heavy. It has triple my finds on ploughed fields and it cuts out more unwanted iron i would recommend it i wouldnt go for a bigger sef coil thou it suits my style of detecting.

Got it by UPS today well start testing it on Friday, Went to Lowe's pick up some rubber washers to make it fit better and was able to tighten it up and hold it in place
