F75 / F70 5x10 elliptical DD coil

Anybody know why the 5x10 elliptical DD coil is not available at some of the Fisher dealers? I was looking around for a coil cover for mine and noticed a lot they don't list that coil or a cover at all.

I have one dealer looking for me a cover.

I can't believe I have had this 5x10" coil for over a year and just now looking for a cover for it, got one coming $9.40 shipped.

I guess nobody knows why this coil is a little hard to find. No big deal, just wondering, it takes a little looking but you can find.

As soon as I get all my ducks in a row I should be able to get out and do some hunting, get wife back on her feet from knee replacement, get new coil cover, and get some rain. Right now in my area it is about as dry and hot as I have ever seen it.

I've had the 5 x 10 for two of my F 75's and have always liked it. It is about all I use for woods hunting. Good for sniffing in, under and around bushes. Hot and dry here as well, Ron. We've had barely enough rain to settle the dust and typically, we get near 5" on average if I recall correctly. Thanks for all your testing. Now get out and test in the dirt. HH jim tn
