F75 FA processor

Well-known member
I was just checking to see if anybody is getting any good out of the FA processor on their F75's.

I, for one, seldom, if ever use it. FA looses a little more depth then I like for many of the spots I hunt. DE with the 5" laser is still my favorite tactic for heavy trash. HH jim tn

Think I agree, I took it out today and on several targets located with DE and checked them with FA and for the most part the target wasn't detected or would break up.

Had luck with FA using 2L tones and still had surprising depth. The advantage was that I could swing fast and cover ground quickly. I checked some targets and they sounded better with JE but I did have to slow down to get them. Deeper targets were very quick sounding hits and you really have to listen close.

I like FA on 99 sensitivity with the stock 11" Biaxial coil. Try it next time you get into a lot of iron grunts. You'd be surprised

What about using the FA processor with a concentric coil?

Mike Hills nailed it. Use it just like he said in a carpet of nails scenario. 1800s homesites with FA on the t2 is super productive. Still prefer the gold bug pro in the heavy iron. Just easier on the ears. Can the F75 adjust iron audio while in FA? On the t2 it’s blistering fast and cuts the signal to a chirp. It’s great in shallow plowed homesite.

Works awesome in that old drive-in even with max. disc.
