Been real busy as of late and havnt done much swingin in the dirt.Had nothing going on today so on my way back home from my fave sub sandwich shop I noticed some ball fields along near the highway and I forgot they were even there,so shot over to give em a try.Wow I dont think anyone has ever hunted them!! I started finding coins right off the bat anywhere from 5 inches down to laying on the top haha it was taking candy from a baby. What a riot!!! Only spent two hours and got 9.01 in change, paid for my sub LOL.And only covered about half of the fields. The really cool part was they were in the process of puting in new bleachers and had already removed the old ones, each bare spot of ground gave up about a buck..........hh rick in mi.

Most ball diamonds along with chiurch lots are heavily hunted so lucky you.

Find a real old one in the backwoods and silver awaits as was lucky enough to hunt the home field of the 1901 braves which yielded silver coins from seated to merc.
Our old baseballfield is now an interstate but as a kid still remember the 100's of spectators on a sunday afternoon as TV was new and PC's was only thought of in the Dick tracy comic strip with his wrist radio-tv....

Dan thanx, and thats good advice, ran out of old haunts for now so started hitting the clad fields.Your showing your age Dan LOL...Rob,any time I can pay for my lunch or new batterys I am a happy camper!!!!!.......hh rick in mi.
