Can you use more then one notch DISC at a time on the F75? Bare with some of the newbie question going from a 1270 to the LTD.

I was hopeing jim tn,or cal cobra would chime in on this as i am wondering where they run there ltd with the notch settings??

If I understand your question, the answer is yes. There are actually 10 notchable segments to leave in or take out each and any of which you can independently accept or reject. The 5 target segments that are notchable are iron, foil, nickel, tab, and zinc, each of which are split in half for notching purposes, hence the 10 segments. Notching on the 75 can be tricky especially to the novice because more than the obvious can be coming into play. This can cause further ramifications if done improperly especially when you're (either with intent or inadvertantly) accepting the bottom half of iron. It is important to be aware that the notch and disc settings work in opposition to each other. Rather than go into that at this point, what you need to be aware of is the top line of the display (where the category names and the slashes go through them) and refer to that especially 7 seconds (or more) after you've made an adjustment. What it says only then is the true status of any combination of notching and disc settings. Just take your time, pay attention, and it'll all make sense.

Thank buck for the info that really helps.
