F75 SE & "The hunted out yard"

Only had the F75 SE just over a week but it surely has proven itself. After some reading about setup and learning its characteristics I took it to my 2 proving grounds, Mom's front yard and Grandparent's back yard. To find anything would be impressive to me because I have literally hunted both areas with 5 other machines over the past 8 years. Mom's front yard (only a 20' by 20' area searched) yielded 5 coins in 45 minutes. All but one had something in common, a nail or piece of trash next to it or nearly over it. My Grandparent's backyard turned out 3 coins. Total count was 2 nickels, 5 pennies and a dime. No silver yet, I think I've cherry picked those. I'm running almost wide open....disc 4, DP, sense 90+ and 2 tone. Each swing would have 3 to 5 targets to check. I usually double check targets in all metal also. I think the fast recovery delay is the deciding factor in reporting a good target. You can literally lay 5 coins 3" apart and the F75 will report each seperately, even with a nail in the mix. Any other machine I've tried will blur them. Anyway it's definitely my go to machine now for coins and relics.

Wow, great job. I usually cant get near 90 and greater on sensitivity, The chatter is too much. With results like these, it may be worth a little chatter.

just an "outrageous" coin sniper!
i know! i got one!..if ya get a chance,try the
5" dd coil! simply amazing!..just sayin'

(h.h.!)
j.t.

Yes the 5" dd is next. I'm trying to clear one section of Mom's front yard then switch to the 5" and hopefully turn up a few more coins. Found 4 more coins today, that brings the total to 9. I still just can't believe it. One coin today was a quarter in with a large rusty nail that I was able to get a good tone on somehow. Missed it with my other machines.

Finally tried the 5" coil for a few minutes and pulled a nice wheat out from the back steps of this 30's era school house. I you look close it was nearly on edge but I got a good signal. Only about 5" but the grass was atleast 3+ inches, so in the 8" range. Very impressed with the 5" coil.
