f75 se2 speaker

Well finally bought a new f75 se2 and haven't even used it yet and I may have to send it back in for repairs seems the speaker in the battery compartment is just laying in there flopping around has anyone encountered this problem and what is the best fix I don't want to void the warranty by messing with it myself but I hate to have to ship it back in its finally warming up and the snow is melting what do I do I hope this isn't a sign of more problems to come?

Depending on your dealer, under those circumstances they may swap it out for a new one. I sure would give the dealer a call first, then F T if the dealer won't help. Good luck and let us know. HH jim tn

Thanks Jim yea I emailed the dealer today just waiting on a response from him hopefully I won't have to ship it back I hate to pay for shipping insurance I've spent enough on this machine already:rant:

Well just talked to my dealer at Fort bedford metal detectors and he is going to order me a new one and swap out mine should have it by this weekend I hope everything goes good with the next one fingers crossed great customer service is hard to beat:clap:

I had that problem on a standard 75. The speaker came loose after a couple years use. I shook the speaker so it went back in place. With a toothpick, I dabbed clear silicon around the edge of the speaker, then let it sit overnight.....hasn't come loose yet.

Steve o I was going to try to fix it myself but just couldn't bring myself to mess with it considering it was right outta the box brand new didn't want to do anything to void the warranty it's also an 11/14 model so I asked my dealer if he could order me a new one as it seems all the issues I've heard about are from that date could be a fluke but I just feel better gettin a newer model:shrug:
