Salt or fresh water??
 
Wet sand, all metal and gb of about 6, + or -. Check if one frequency (shift) might be a little better then the others. Dry sand you can hunt in de and sen. as high as you can handle,,,about like on the turf. HH jim tn
 
I ran mine for the first time WFO, and she is sensitive...sens@99,disc.0,notch.1,tone. mono,proc.je-bp,to help verify my all metals signals,wich was set at, All metals motion,thresh+1,audio pitch+1,manual ground balance 85 in the dry sand fast grab bal. as i got closer to the water,from time to time,wich always seemed a little lower number. I was out for about an hour scratched 5 quarters,2 dimes 7 penny.But I was on the beach of Lake Michigan,very clean sand,and it was a riot running this baby wide open,it missed nothing!!!:crylol:
